A digital copy is a complimentary, bonus version of a movie or TV show included with your purchase of select DVD or Blu-ray discs. The digital copy and instructions for redemption are included in the packaging of your physical product, either as a digital file on a separate disc or as a code, which can be used to instantly stream or download to a variety of devices.
Types of Digital Copy Products:
DVD or Blu-ray with Digital Copy – This product includes a digital copy that is compatible with iTunes and Windows Media.
DVD or Blu-ray + UltraViolet Digital Copy - This product includes a digital copy that is compatible with iTunes and Windows Media an Ultraviolet digital copy. UltraViolet is a cloud-based digital rights library for movies and television shows that allows you to stream and download licensed content to multiple platforms and devices. In the packaging of your Blu-ray or DVD disc, you will find instructions for redemption and a redemption code located on either the sticker or the insert of the disc packaging. You then will enter your redemption code on the manufacturers' designated website. The redemption code must be redeemed prior to its expiration date and can be found in the product packaging.
DVD or Blu-Ray with Digital UltraViolet or Digital HD UltraViolet – This product includes either a Digital UltraViolet version or a Digital HD UltraViolet version in addition to your DVD or Blu-ray disc. UltraViolet is a cloud-based digital rights library for movies and television shows that allows you to stream and download licensed content to multiple platforms and devices. In the packaging of your Blu-ray or DVD disc, you will find instructions for redemption and a redemption code located on either the sticker or the insert of the disc packaging. You then will enter your code at the designated websites to redeem both of these. The code must be redeemed prior to its expiration date, which can also be found in the product packaging. The product includes, as applicable, Digital or Digital HD UltraViolet copy of the main feature. It does not include an iTunes digital copy file, however, it is compatible with iPhone, iPod Touch and most Android HD UltraViolet Copies include the main feature in high definition (HD) on certain devices. HD may not be available on all devices. Ultimate display resolution upon playback is dependent upon the device characteristics, including screen resolution. Digital UltraViolet Copies include the main feature in standard definition (SD). Special features are not included.
